Masdar powers up rural Morocco

    solar home systems that will be installed across 940 villages in Morocco as a result of a partnership agreement signed between Masdar and Morocco’s Office National de l’Electricité et de l’Eau Potable barely a year ago.

    capacity of the solar panels being installed along with batteries with sufficient storage capacity for three days, thus ensuring uninterrupted power supply. The system add-ons include energy-efficient appliances such as LED lamps and a 165 litre refrigerator.
