    The year when the Tanzania Domestic Biogas Programme (TDBP). started operations with the aim to initiate and assist large-scale commercial dissemination of domestic biogas to benefit rural households in Tanzania. It is part of the Africa Biogas Partnership Programme (ABPP).

    + biodigester construction enterprises have been established and receive technical assistance and business development support, with more than 600 masons trained.

    reduction in CO2 equivalent emission per year, thereby contributing to climate change mitigation.

    increase in agricultural production and income, by using the bio-slurry -the liquid left-over of the biogas plants- as an organic fertilizer.
