Analysis of inspection reports of pharma industries in Telangana’s Patancheru-Bollaram industrial area [Nov 2015]

    Centre for Science and Environment published a report based on the inspection reports of the 15 bulk drugs manufacturing units. The reports were released by the Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) only in response to a RTI petition filed by K Chidhamberum, president of non-profit, Citizens for Better Patancheru Constituency. The findings include:

    discharging more effluents than permissible limits.

    hazardous waste than permissible limits.
