Energy Efficiency scheme launched in Gujarat

Date of launch of the scheme by Vijay Rupani, Chief Minister of the state during Republic Day celebrations. Under this scheme, efficient LED tube lights and fans will be distributed in the state by EESL. The planned numbers are:

fans at a subsidised price of Rs. 1,150.

tubelights of 20 W rating at a subsidised price of Rs. 210.

+ residents across the state to benefit. The state is likely to save Rs. 100 crore each year through these efficiency measures.
