    During a community meeting, nearby Glenrowan neighbours voice their objection to the development mainly based on the grounds of visual impact that the project would cause.

    ESCO Pacific lodges a planning permit application with Wangaratta council. Head of development Allison Hawke mentions some changes have been made since a community consultation meeting last November to remedy concerns. “After meeting with each of the neighbours owning or residing in properties adjacent to the solar farm, ESCO Pacific engaged a visual impact expert to undertake additional assessment and create photo montages of views from select properties to the project, ‘before and after’ the implementation of layered landscape screening." - Ms Hawke informed the Wangaratta Chronicle.
