Centre gives in-principle approval for the Rs. 10,686 crore assistance sought by the state government. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and state Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in Delhi to finalise the intricacies.
