Number of new master planned residential communities that will embed a range of clean energy initiatives as part of the base build. The project will be undertaken by Mirvac is a leading, integrated urban property group, principally located in Australia’s four key cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth with support from CEFC.
Number of family homes, of 3 and 4 bedrooms, will each be built with solar and battery storage systems, as well as high-grade insulation, LED lighting and energy efficient appliances.
Generation capacity of a ready-to-operate rooftop solar system for each home, paired with 10kWh battery systems, will provide residents with a clean energy alternative sufficient to meet up to 90 per cent of a typical household’s energy consumption.
Debt finance that the CEFC is committing as part of Mirvac’s broader financing of the master planned communities.
Planned start of construction, subject to planning approvals, with the first homes ready for purchase and occupation by late 2019.
