    net capacity addition through thermal (coal, gas and diesel) sources compared to 4,576 MW in previous fiscal. Thermal capacity added at 26% of total capacity addition. Total thermal installed capacity is now at 226,728 MW.

    capacity addition through renewable sources (wind, bio, waste to energy and small hydro) sources compared to 12,251 MW in previous fiscal. Renewable capacity addition at 70% of total capacity addition. Total renewable installed capacity is now at 77,639 MW.

    net capacity addition based on coal compared to 5,008 MW in previous fiscal. Coal capacity addition at 28% of total capacity addition. Total coal based installed capacity is now at 200,704 MW.
