Chandigarh as model 'Solar City'

    The then Central government had selected Chandigarh to be developed as a 'model solar city'. Chandigarh Renewal Energy and Science & Technology Promotion Society’(CREST) was established as a nodal agency responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and monitoring of the initiatives undertaken under this vision.
