Water Watch: Water levels in dams in Konkan region of Maharashtra - By district [30 Jun 2019]

Dhamni Dam - Palghar. At 18.8% of its live capacity of 276,000 million litres, compared to 41% at the same time last year. Also known as Surya Dam, the reservoir is expected to irrigate around 19,000 hectares of farmland in Palghar district and provide water to the nearby 6 MW Surya Hydroelectric Project.

Kawdas P. U. Weir - Palghar. At 91% of its live capacity of 10,000 million litres, compared to 98% at the same time last year.

Tillari - Sindhudurg. At 22% of its live capacity of 447,000 million litres, compared to 37% at the same time last year.

Bhatsa Dam - Thane. At 24% of its live capacity of 942,000 million litres, compared to 36% at the same time last year.
