    Dhamni Dam - Palghar. At 98% of its live capacity of 276,000 million litres, compared to 100% at the same time last year. Also known as Surya Dam, the reservoir is expected to irrigate around 19,000 hectares of farmland in Palghar district and provide water to the nearby 6 MW Surya Hydroelectric Project.
  • 9,960 million litres
    Kawdas P. U. Weir - Palghar. At 100% of its live capacity of 10,000 million litres, compared to 98% at the same time last year.
  • 423,000 million litres
    Tillari - Sindhudurg. At 94% of its live capacity of 447,000 million litres, compared to 86% at the same time last year. Due to continuous rain since early Aug in the upper and lower catchment areas, WRD Maharashtra has no choice but to release surplus water causing heaving flooding in North Goa, the worst the region has witnessed in over two decades.
  • 938,000 million litres
    Bhatsa Dam - Thane. At 99.65% of its live capacity of 942,000 million litres, compared to 93% at the same time last year.
