Ground mounted solar system at Vijaywada Airport

    peak generation capacity of the ground mounted solar system installed at Vijaywada Airport. The system has been deployed on six acres of vacant land adjacent to the car park of the airport.

    estimated electricity that can be generated by the system annually. The system has been synchronized with APSPDCL (Southern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited) under the net metering policy.

    electricity generated each day, fulfilling around 40% of the daily power needs of the airport. The airport's daily consumption is around 12,000 to 13,000 units.

    estimated annual reduction in GHG emissions.

    solar panels of 330 W installed in all. 2 inverters of 500 kW each and 1 x 125 kVA dry type indoor transformer have also been installed to support the project. The system is installed by Novus Green Energy Systems Limited.
