    net capacity addition through thermal (coal, gas and diesel) sources. Thermal capacity added at 19% of total capacity addition. Total thermal installed capacity is now at 231,589 MW.

    net capacity addition through renewable sources (wind, bio, waste to energy and small hydro) sources. Renewable capacity addition at 79% of total capacity addition. Total renewable installed capacity is now at 91,151 MW.
