Live storage and water levels in dams in Nagpur region of Maharashtra - By district [31 May 2020]

बावनथडी / Bawanthadi Dam - Bhandara. At 30% of its live capacity of 217,000 million litres, compared to 8% at the same time last year.

गोसीखुद / Gosikhurd Dam - Bhandara. At 8% of its live capacity of 740,000 million litres, compared to 0% at the same time last year.

Asolamendha Dam - Chandrapur. At 80% of its live capacity of 52,000 million litres, compared to 30% at the same time last year.

Dina Dam - Gadchiroli. At 0% of its live capacity of 68,000 million litres, compared to 0% at the same time last year. Data as on 01 Jun 2019.

Itiadoh Dam - Gondia. At 28% of its live capacity of 318,000 million litres, compared to 17% at the same time last year.

कालीसरार / Kalisarar Dam - Gondia. At 0% of its live capacity of 26,000 million litres, compared to 48% at the same time last year.

पुजारीटोला उ बंधारा / Pujaritola P.U.Weir Dam - Gondia. At 66% of its live capacity of 44,000 million litres, compared to 1% at the same time last year.

Sirpur Dam - Gondia. At 17% of its live capacity of 1,60,000 million litres, compared to 19% at the same time last year.

Kamthi Khairy Dam (aka Pench Dam) - Nagpur. At 79% of its live capacity of 142,000 million litres, compared to 24% at the same time last year. Located inside the Pench Tiger Reserve, the dam provides 70% of drinking water to Nagpur city.

Khindsi Dam - Nagpur. At 14% of its live capacity of 103,000 million litres, compared to 8% at the same time last year.

नांद / Nand Dam (aka Wadgaon Dam) - Nagpur. At 22% of its live capacity of 53,000 million litres, compared to 0% at the same time last year.

वडगाव / Wadgaon Dam - Nagpur. At 48% of its live capacity of 135,000 million litres, compared to 12% at the same time last year. Provides water to the Mihan-SEZ. Solar Floater modules were mounted at the dam via a Tech Mahindra initaitve. The solar-generated power will be used to pump water from the dam to the nearby farming lands.

बोर / Bor Dam - Wardha. At 41% of its live capacity of 127,000 million litres, compared to 11% at the same time last year.

Lower Wardha Dam - Wardha. At 60% of its live capacity of 217,000 million litres, compared to 6.53% at the same time last year. The dam had filled to full capacity and water had to be released on 16 Sep 2019, the first time since construction of dam in 2011. Data as on 30 Apr.
