Number of schools in 11 districts of Himachal Pradesh will have rooftop solar systems installed under the state's “Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan” program. The Himachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (HIMURJA) has invited bids in Aug 2019. The systems are to be installed within seven month of the project being awarded. The total estimated cost of the project is Rs. 110 crore.
