Amount donated by philanthropists Susmita & Subroto Bagchi, and Radha & NS Parthasarathy to the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The donation will be used for the construction of a not-for-profit, 800-bed multi-speciality hospital catering to the clinical training and research activities of IISc's academic programme. The hospital will be named as the Bagchi-Parthasarathy Hospital.
