Time that a photon takes to cross a hydrogen molecule. It is the shortest unit of time ever that scientists have measured. (A zeptosecond is a trillionth of a billionth of a second, or a decimal point followed by 21 zeroes and a 1). The measurement was recorded by physicist Reinhard Dörner and his colleagues at the Goethe University in Germany.
